Social Media Intermediary
As a Social Media Intermediary under the Intermediary Guidelines, 2021, the Company has established and implemented policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with the guidelines.
Due Diligence Measures
- Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are accessible on the Svipes website and within the Svipes app. Users will be informed of any changes to these documents at least once a year.
- We reserve the right to terminate user access or usage rights at any time and may remove non-compliant content when necessary.
- Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy specifically prohibit users from posting content that:
- Invades another's bodily privacy or is harmful or harassing, particularly concerning gender or children.
- Is patently false or misleading but presented as a fact.
- Impersonates, deceives, or is false with the intent to cause injury, wrongful loss, harassment, or fraud.
- Threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India.
- Violates any applicable laws.
- We deploy technology-based measures, including automated tools, to proactively identify and manage content falling into the aforementioned categories and others as required.
Compliance with Orders
- Takedown requests or other orders issued by a court of competent jurisdiction, the Appropriate Government, or its agencies should be directed to the Grievance Officer (contact details provided below).
- The Resident Grievance Officer will acknowledge receipt of such complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days from the date of receipt.
- We will immediately remove or disable access to any content identified as unlawful or prohibited by a court order or government notification, particularly content endangering the sovereignty and integrity of India, the security of the state, etc.
- Upon receiving a written order from a lawfully authorized government agency clearly stating the purpose, we will provide the requested information or assistance within 72 hours.

- User registration information will be retained for 180 days following the cancellation or withdrawal of registration.
- Information that has been removed or access-disabled will be retained for 180 days for investigative purposes or as required by a court or authorized government agencies.
Company Grievance Redressal Process
Users can report issues directly within the Svipes app. Grievances relating to Rule 3 violations, including those concerning the exposure of private areas, nudity, or depicting individuals (including children) in a sexual manner, should be addressed to the Resident Grievance Officer at support@svipes.com. Reports will be acknowledged within 24 hours with a unique identification number, and grievances regarding private exposure or impersonation will be addressed within 24 hours.
Reinstatement Procedure for Removed Content
In line with the Rules, we provide users the opportunity to dispute actions taken on their content. Users can appeal for reinstatement by sending an email to support@svipes.com. Appeals will be reviewed and resolved according to the Intermediary Guidelines.
